Jet Ski Racing New Zealand members enjoy frequent racing opportunities and social events with other clubs up and down the country.

Weekends away in beautiful locations (including Orewa, Taupo and Rotorua) are frequent throughout the summer season and are organised to allow members and their families to relax together, assist each other and take part in professionally managed events with a strong emphasis on safety.

We often stay within a short distance of each other when we hold our events as we encourage after-race socialising and networking within the racing community. This is a great way of getting to know each other, an opportunity to build our relationships with other clubs along with the sharing of techniques and the best of the banter.

The purchase of an Annual Race licence entitles riders to compete at all events throughout the season.  It also covers you for personal and public liability and third-party insurance.

Our Values

We also have a strong commitment to professionalism, communication and time management.  We are firmly committed to hosting events in a relaxed environment, where we foster a sense of belonging and where we can all have fun and enjoy ourselves. Racing, however, is conducted under strict race rules with health and safety being paramount.

The Executive

Our Club is governed by a very committed, hard-working Executive Committee elected at our annual AGM, which was held in late October 2023. The Executive meets regularly and is responsible for managing the organisation’s day-to-day affairs,  including financial management, asset management, legal responsibilities and the management of events. Nomination for the Executive is open to all members.
