2023/24 Summer Series Rounds 2 & 3 – Hannahs Bay, Rotorua

Hannah’s Bay – Rotorua
This venue will be home to rounds 2 & 3 of the 2024 Summer Series. Situated on the quiet and beautiful Eastern shore of Lake Rotorua, it’s only 10 minutes from the city centre. To find the venue take Lee Road, just before the airport and the entrance to the reserve is at the end on the right. It’s a perfect venue for jet ski racing, with plenty of parking and great facilities. Accomodation and camp grounds are all around Rotorua, so take your pick!
As everyone is aware, the Gold Clam is circulating around our waterways, harbouring in lakes, rivers and estuaries. In order to attend Round 2 & 3, all riders need to take the precaution and comply with the 72 hour rule – Your JetSki and all your gear MUST be DRY and free of any foreign matter, for 72 hours prior to any event.
You will be disqualified if either, your ski enters the water before Scrutineering, or if any biosecurity hazards are detected on your ski or any of your gear, including water inside the hull.
So don’t forget, Keep your ski dry for 72hrs before joining us!

Registration
Register by January 31 and pay only $120. Registrations on the day will cost $150.00.
Membership
Membership fees are due at the start of the new race season. Your very first race event with JSRNZ is complimentary, but after that, the cost of membership is only $20 for Individuals and $30 for Family membership (to qualify for a Family membership all members must reside at the same address).
Race Licence
Unless you’re brand new to racing, you’ll need an Annual Race Licence at the cost of $150.
New Riders
New Riders are always welcome! You will be fully supported by our experienced riders from beginning to end. Before competing, new riders should familiarise themselves with the class their ski qualifies for. You’ll find everything you need to know in our race information.

Rules
All riders MUST read and comply with our Race Rules. In local events all new riders and those who have competed for less than two years, will compete as a Restricted Rider, at a maximum competition level of GP2.
