Come join us at our free fun day !

A fun, exhilarating day out with JSRNZ

Here we go again! This FREE event is being held on Saturday 23th of November, and it is specially designed for jet ski riders, who may be new to racing, or looking to brush up on race strategy before the next official event.

Bring your runabout or poleski and join us for a day of fun, running around a set up course of bouys. We welcome all riders, all makes, models and brands of ski.

Our Fun Day event is a great opportunity for riders who have previously ridden a ski, played around on the harbour, maybe spent some time jetski fishing, and are looking for the next step in challenging themselves and their ski. Perhaps you’re a teen or new to the pleasures of jet ski racing and will be able to give our experienced racers a run for their money. Don’t be shy, show us!

CALLING ALL WOMEN RIDERS! We would love to see what you’ve got and encourage you to give it a go! When we have enough women riders, we run a “Women’s Class”. Talk to one of our great committee members about your options when racing with us.

Jet Ski Racing New Zealand (JSRNZ) is proudly known as a friendly, welcoming group, focused on hosting safe, exhilarating racing for all riders.  We race regularly at venues throughout the upper North Island, providing a challenging course layout, all of which culminate in our National Grand Prix at Kinloch, Lake Taupo, attracting riders from all across New Zealand.

Bring your ski, life vest, full-faced motor-cross helmet, and your family and friends. Don’t worry too much if you don’t have one, we have spare helmets and back braces you are welcome to borrow on the day.

Take the chance to join us prior to the season starting, at the very same location!!

Round 1 of our Summer Series will be held at Lake Waahi 24th November 2024

12pm  –   Riders arrive – Registration and Scrutinising

1pm  – Riders’ Brief

2am  –  Race Training

3pm   –   Social Racing

4pm  –  Finish
