ASD Winter Enduro – Round 2 – Orewa

Sponsored by Action Sports Direct, Orewa Beach provides a perfect, sheltered beach setting for Winter Enduro racing and a late tide provides riders with a slightly later start.

Race Schedule

11:00am – Registration

12:00pm – Rider’s Brief

12:30pm – Racing Starts

There will be 3 races of 20-30 minutes each with 30mins break/rest in between.

You will not need a Pit Crew as we will use a Rolling Start and refuelling during the race will not be required.

You will need a Wetsuit, Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, correct PFD, Back protector, Footwear as they are all compulsory, and a Wind Jacket is highly recommended.

Boat Ramps

There are 2 ramps – Orewa Beach (Marine View) and Orewa Estuary.  These both have limited parking but you can park at the Surf Life Club.  No vehicles are permitted to park on the beach.

First Time Riders

This will be a great course and is prefect for first timers.  So, if you have any mates that have shown any interest in racing please bring them along!

Food and Drink

No vendors have been arranged for this site, however there are a few cafes just a short walk over the road.

Prize Giving

The day concludes with Prizegiving at the Orewa Surf Club.  Please plan to include this in your day.

REGISTRATION

Early Bird Fees – $80

Pay online BEFORE the event and the fees will be $80 ($50 Race Entry + $30 Day Licence).  Early Bird entry closes Wednesday evening before the event to allow money to show in our account.

Pay on the Day – $110

Paying on the day the fees will be $110 ($80 Race Entry + $30 Day Licence)
