A fun, exhilarating (FREE) day out with JSRNZ

Here we come again! This FREE event is being held on Sunday 19th of November, and it is specially designed for jet ski riders, who may be new to racing, or looking to brush up on race strategy before the next official event. Bring your ski, runabout or poleski and join us for a day of fun, running around a specially designed course. We welcome all riders to our events, & all makes, models and brands of ski.

Our Welcome to Racing event is a great opportunity for riders who have previously ridden a ski, played around on the harbour, maybe spent some time jetski fishing, and are looking for the next step in challenging themselves and their ski. Perhaps you’re a teen or new to the pleasures of jet ski racing and will be able to give our experienced racers a run for their money. Don’t be shy, show us!

CALLING ALL WOMEN RIDERS! We would love to see what you’ve got and encourage you to give it a go! When we have enough women riders, we run a “Women’s Class” as well and you can race in the relevant Ski Class race. Talk to one of our great committee members about your options when racing with us. We are one of the few clubs in NZ that host this class at our events.

Jet Ski Racing New Zealand (JSRNZ) is proudly known as a friendly, welcoming group, focused on hosting safe, exhilarating racing for all riders.  We race regularly at venues throughout the upper North Island, providing a challenging course layout, all of which culminate in our National Grand Prix at Stump Bay on the northern shores of the beautiful Lake Taupo, attracting riders from across New Zealand.

Bring your ski, life vest, full-faced motor-cross helmet (if you have one), your family and friends. We have spare helmets and back braces you are free to borrow on the day, if you don’t have one.

We’ll provide a free BBQ lunch, just bring your own drinks!

Take the chance to join us prior to the season starting. We promise you’ll be hooked!!

9am – 10am  –   Riders arrive

10.00am   – Registration and Scrutineering

10.30am  – Riders’ Brief

10.30am    Race Training

12.30pm    Lunch

1.00pm      Social Racing

3.30pm      Finish
